Xiang-Jun Fan is a dance writer, researcher and CI practitioner. She has long time experience in theater dancer and as a choreographer. Her studies at Taipei National University of the Arts focuses on dance history, phenomenology of perception and sensory anthropology. Xiang-Jun Fan is an active journalist with publications in several magazines and online media in Taiwan, such as Performance Art Review (PAR) and ARTouch. Her Ph.D. research topic focus on the body culture in Germany & the development of contact improvisation, both as a social-cultural phenomenon of body movement and a creative tool for performance artists.
